Jacqueline Payne Swint, age 89, of Andrews, passed away on Thursday morning, Oct. 6, 2022. Jacqueline was born in Heflin, Ala., on Nov. 1, 1932, to the late Winford Payne and Vessie Howle Payne.
Mrs. Swint was a former teacher’s aide at Peachtree Elementary School; she loved to read and paint in her free time. She attended Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Swint, son Kerry Swint, sister Charlie Jean McDonough, and her great-grandchild Sierra Osborne.
Survivors include her children Joan Mintz, Sylvia Boheler, Susan Loggins, Steven Swint, and brother Stanley Payne; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. She also is survived by her faithful and loving caregivers Ida Sue and Rayna Rowland.
The family received friends at Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, from 1-3 p.m.
Services for Jacqueline Swint were held on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Noah Crowe officiating. Burial followed in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
