    James Fulton Worsham Jr., 78, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.
    He was born in Knox County, Tenn., to the late James and Betty Dawson Worsham.
    James was an electrician with Union Commercial and Residential.
    He was a Air Force veteran, serving in Special Forces. James was a firefighter and Firefighter of the Year for several years, an EMT, 50-year electrician, a 33rd Degree Mason and Shriner.
    He loved to make people laugh. James loved his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
    He is survived by his wife, Sharon Worsham; two sons, Larry James Worsham and Lonnie McCoy Brevik and wife Christine; one daughter, Lori Lynn Atkinson; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Steve Ware officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Clayton, Barry Clayton, Freddy Conley, William Kyrder, Cliff Lucht and Bobby Blair. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Manfield and Tony Graham.
    The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
    Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
