    Cecile Barton Palmer, 78, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
    She was a native of Cherokee County.
    Cecile worked for many organizations over the years including Clifton Precision, Ingles Markets, Western Forge and Emerson Electric.
    She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tomotla Baptist Church.
    Cecile was the daughter of the late Cecil and Indy Birchfield Barton, and wife of the late Eugene Palmer. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Devereaux Barton; and three sisters, Janice Lovin, Barbara Forsythe and Betty Palmer.
    Survivors include daughter, Lesley Pullium (Mark Hazard); two sons, Jerome Palmer and Jarrett Palmer (Amy); two brothers, Bruce Barton and Joseph Barton; three grandchildren, Michelle Moscardini (Edward), Lucas Pullium (Samantha), Will Pullium (Lori); eight grandchildren, Steel Moscardini, Cross Moscardini, Ollie Pullium, Aimee Maly, Solomon Pullium, Madison Pullium, Hayden Pullium and Violet Pullium.
    Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, from Tomotla Community Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Stiles officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made to Meals on Wheels.
